Canonical visitation of Brothers John Casey, Julian McDonald and Hugh O'Neill
On Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th March we were pleased to welcome Brothers John Casey, Julian McDonald and Hugh O’Neill to our school. They are currently living in Rome and are members of the Congregation Leadership Team of the Christian Brothers. A canonical visitation involves the visit of all institutions and facilities which are part of a community by leaders of a Church Congregation, in order to better know them.
Their busy visitation agenda included meetings with the School Senior Leadership Team, the Pastoral Department team and with Secondary School class presidents. Their stay coincided with two Easter masses. They took part in the celebrations and addressed the audience as well. They were shown around the school premises and classrooms, getting to know our pupils in person and interacting with them.
They also had the chance to visit the outreach programs of the Edmund Rice Network in Uruguay (the Los Tréboles and Madres de La Cruz Educational Centres and Nuestros Hijos Library) in order to get better acquainted with the daily work of each centre.
Find below pictures of their visit.
