MUN Conference at Crandon Institute, May 2017
A group of secondary students from our School who take part in our Model United Nations Club attended a MUN Conference at Crandon Institute on May 27th (8am-6 pm), representing the delegation of Ukraine.
This is our School’s seventh year participating in, and organising, MUN Conferences. MUN is an extracurricular optional activity, which takes place every Wednesday from 4:20 to 5:20 pm. Secondary school students get together to research into complex current affairs of the UN agenda. After getting prepared, they attend MUN Conferences, where they act as delegates of a certain country.
In this latest Conference we were delighted by Band Ki-MUN’s music show. The band is integrated by students from Stella Maris, Crandon Institute and the British Schools. Our student Pedro Artucio performs as a bass guitarrist.
In August we will attend the THIMUN Conference (The Hague International Model United Nations) together with schools from Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
